Social Housing Development, Waterford City

About This Project

The development consists of five new terraced houses at Ardmore Park, Waterford City. It consists of 3no of 2-bed units and 3no of 1-bed units, which are wheelchair user compliant. The objective was to deliver quality accommodation for the residents, and through our design approach, to secure the long-term sustainability of the development and enhancement of the environs. This included respecting neighbouring residents, privacy, overlooking and over-shadowing. To meet different housing needs and minimum floor area (e.g. for families vs single persons), we designed varying sizes of dwellings that followed the department guidelines.
